Omzetting gezuiverd afvalwater

AB InBev en Azulatis hebben een interessante samenwerking op het gebied van waterbehandeling en -zuivering. Zowel de brouwerijen in Leuven als in Jupille produceren elk ongeveer 50 m³ water per uur, wat neerkomt op 400.000 m³ per jaar. Ze maken gebruik van ultrafiltratie en omgekeerde osmose om gezuiverd afvalwater om te zetten naar proceswater van drinkwaterkwaliteit.
